De Delftse Hout is a recreational area around the Grote Plas on the northwest side of Delft. The lake was created by excavation of sand for some new residential areas in the area. To the The camping site is located on the south side of the lake Delftse Hout.
Nudist recreation has been permitted on a small area on the northeast side since 1984.

Since July 2014, nudity is allowed again on the site of the original nudist beach, but the area is not again indicated with signs.
The municipality of Delft gives on its site indicates that nude recreation is possible throughout Delftse Hout Allowed. The police are patrolling intensively to prevent nuisance in the area.
