Domburg, in the northwest of Walcheren, is one of the two oldest seaside resorts in the Netherlands. At the beginning of the last century, a number of well-known painters, such as Piet Mondrian and Jan Toorop, spent the summer in Domburg, which also made it known as an artists' village. The family resort of Domburg is located directly on the sea, with the dune area with the forests of the Manteling van Walcheren in the east and the dune area with an 18-hole golf course in the west. The small but busy nudist beach is located behind the golf course, about 1 km outside the village. Here is also the large recreatiepark Hof Domburg, with a subtropical (non-naturist) swimming paradise.
Nude recreation is permitted between posts 16.4 and 16.9. The area is signposted. Recreation is prohibited in the dunes. There are a number of beach cabins on the nudist beach that are rented out by Noordduine.
There are no facilities on the beach, but there is a toilet at the dune crossing. The beach pavilion "Txiki Domburg" is located against the nudist beach. (formerly: Brooklyn Beach/Zeven Golven)
There are breakwater piles on the beach. Swimming close to these poles is dangerous. There is no direct bath supervision on the beach. The nearest beach post is at the Noordduine beach entrance, 450 meters from the western border.
