Recreation area Stroombroek is situated to the South of Doetinchem at the foot of the woody, hilly area of Montferland. It has a surface area of 72 hectares and is made up of a spacious water lake with beach and playing/laying meadows. On a small section on the Northern side of the lake nudist recreation is permitted and has been since 2004. The nudist beach consists a sunbathing area with plenty of shady spots. There is a small sandy beach on the water. In 2016 is the nudist beach a lot on the kicked out most bushes have been replaced by one earthen wall.
There is a toilet block on the nudist beach, there are none else facilities
The swimming water has a separate area. There is swimming outside this section only suitable for experienced swimmers through a dangerous shore
