 Nudist beach Het TwiskeGeneral The recreation area Het Twiske lays to the North of Amsterdam, between Zaandam and Purmerend. The area of 650 hectares round the Stootersplas (200 ha) has a lot of recreational facilities. In the North west of the area, on a section of approximately 3 hectares, the Wezenlandstrand, nudist recreation is permitted. The area is shown with signs. The nudist beach is made up of laying meadows, and on the water a small sandy beach. Also there is a beach volley ball area available. On the nudist beach there is a toilet block, no further facilities. The swimming water has a gradual sloping bottom, with a sectioned area that has a maximum depth of 1,00 meter. 
Dogs on a lead are permitted on the area, although not on the
